TDLR Issues Five Cease And Desist Orders

AUSTIN - The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) has issued five cease and desist orders against five unlicensed individuals to prevent them from acting as licensed air conditioning or electrical contractors. All actions are the result of investigations into illegal activities.

TDLR encourages consumers to report any commercial contact with these individuals or businesses so that the agency may take appropriate action. Consumers may contact TDLR at 1-800-803-9202 or by email to TDLR at complaints@license.state.tx.us.

Cease and Desist Orders

Air Conditioning

Juan Perez Kyle Date of issuance: January 4, 2007 Violation: Operating without a license.

Kevin Powell d/b/a K-n-S Appliance Services Leonard Date of issuance: December 15, 2006 Violation: Operating without a license.

Electrical

Mark Garman d/b/a B & M Electrical Service Fort Worth Date of issuance: December 13, 2006 Violation: Operating without a license.

Keith Brown d/b/a K.B. Electric Houston Date of issuance: December 13, 2006 Violation: Operating without a license.

Urbano Rosas d/b/a Urbano Electric Company Laredo Date of issuance: December 15, 2006 Violation: Operating without a license.
