STATE OF OHIO CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical License(s)
The Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board requires continuing education each year for holders of the following state licenses: HVAC, hydronics, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration.
IMPORTANT: OCILB new rulings, effective 2-9-04:
All trades may attend a 10-hour seminar, all in one day.
All trades may get 10 hours in any approved subject area.
Multiple license holders only need 10 hours total of CEU’s.
You may attend courses approved for any other trade.
Electrical will require at least 5 hours of code and 5 hours in any other subject area per year.
